In
keeping with the great visions of sages like Swami Dayanand and
Mahatma Hansraj, D.A. V. Public School, Sreshtha Vihar came into
existence in March 1989. Its infancy past off being joyfully nursed
and pampered in the golden hands of its first Principal Mrs. Goldy
Malhotra, under the constant guidance and help from its managing
body.
The school today stands high with two twin buildings in the main
campus. It has sufficient number of rooms to cater to a strong
number of students (about 4000). The school boasts of having well
qualified staff of 200 educators.
D.A.V..Sreshtha Vihar is a co-educational school, preparing students
for the All India Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination,
conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. Aspire, Act,
Achieve is the motto, the students live by at DAV Sreshtha Vihar.

College Management Committee. Dayanand AngloVedic, in short the
D.A.V. society is one of the largest organizations on the Indian
soil, managing a chain of 667 institutions, with an annual budget of
Rs.200 crores. Following the footsteps of Maharishi Dayanand and
Mahatama Hansraj, the D.A.V. society dovetails the modern era of
advanced technology and communication with the rich Vedic tradition.
The DAYANAND ANGLO VEDIC COLLEGE TRUST AND MANAGEMENT SOCIETY was
registered in 1886, to preach and teach Self-Denial, Dedication,
Discipline and Duty. This organization aspires to spread not mere
literacy but EDUCATION throughout the length and breadth of our
country with the noble desire of making the Indian society
intellectually, emotionally and spiritually sounds.
Our school is functioning under the chairmanship of Padamshree
Awardee, Mr.G.P.Chopra.
